Trinity Chiropractic Puchong: The Prices, Written Down

Trinity Chiropractic treats spine, neck and joint pain from a ground-floor clinic at IOI Rio, Bandar Puteri Puchong. Both chiropractors are registered with the Ministry of Health under the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Act 2016 and hold current Annual Practising Certificates. Sessions run from RM98 to RM300, published in full below — no quote request, no consultation fee hidden behind a phone call.

What Usually Goes Wrong When People Book a Chiropractor

Most people arrive at a chiropractor after months of putting it off, and the reasons they put it off are almost always the same four. Trinity was chosen for this hub because it answers all four in writing rather than on the phone.

💰

Nobody will tell you the price

The standard reply in Klang Valley is “it depends on your condition”, which is true of the treatment plan and not of the session fee. That answer leaves you unable to compare two clinics without visiting both. Trinity’s tiers are published on this page: RM300 for the first visit including the full assessment, RM150 for a follow-up adjustment, RM98 for soft tissue work. Specialised equipment is quoted per plan because the number of sessions genuinely varies — but the per-session tiers do not move.

📋

You cannot tell who is actually qualified

Since 1 March 2025, the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Act 2016 has required every practising chiropractor in Malaysia to be registered and to hold a current Annual Practising Certificate. That is checkable, and most clinic websites still do not give you the numbers to check with. Both of Trinity’s chiropractors are listed further down this page with their registration and certificate numbers, so you can verify them yourself before you book.

🕑

The opening hours assume you do not work

A clinic that closes at 6pm on weekdays and shuts on Sunday is not usable by the people most likely to need it — desk workers, shift staff, and anyone driving in from elsewhere in the Klang Valley. Trinity opens seven days a week — weekdays 9:00am to 7:00pm and weekends 9:00am to 5:00pm, each with a midday break — which is the single most common reason patients give for switching to it from somewhere closer to home.

Getting there is harder than the treatment

Back pain and stairs are a poor combination, and a lot of clinics sit on the first or second floor of a shoplot with no lift. Trinity is ground floor at IOI Rio in Bandar Puteri, wheelchair accessible, with parking directly outside — which matters for the caregivers bringing an elderly parent as much as it does for the patient who arrived in spasm.

A note on what chiropractic is not. Chiropractic is a manual therapy for musculoskeletal complaints — spinal and joint pain, restricted movement, muscular tension. It is not a substitute for a medical diagnosis, and it does not treat disease. If your symptoms include unexplained weight loss, fever, loss of bladder or bowel control, or progressive weakness in a limb, the correct first stop is a medical doctor, and any competent chiropractor will tell you so and refer you rather than adjust you.

Three Ways Trinity Treats: Hands, Machines, and Needles

The clinic splits along the lines of how the work is actually done, not by body part. Each of the three has its own page with the assessment protocol, what it is suitable for, and where it stops.

Adjustment

The Gonstead Method

A full-spine examination before anything is adjusted: static and motion palpation, a heat-differential scan along the spine, posture and gait, and a reading of any X-rays you already have. The adjustment is then specific to one segment rather than a general manipulation of the whole region. It is slower on the first visit and that is the point.

  • Segment-specific, low-amplitude adjustment
  • Diversified and soft tissue technique alongside it
  • Rehabilitative exercise prescribed between visits

Equipment

Shockwave and Spinal Decompression

Two machines, for two different problems. EMS Guided Dolorclast therapy combines high-power laser and extracorporeal shockwave for chronic inflammation that has stopped responding to manual work. The HillDT table applies motorised, non-surgical decompression for disc conditions. Both are quoted per treatment plan because the session count is the variable, not the rate.

  • EMS Guided Dolorclast — laser and ESWT
  • HillDT motorised spinal decompression
  • Used alongside adjustment, not instead of it

Needles

Trigger Point Dry Needling

Some muscle tension does not answer to pressure. A fine filament needle reaches a taut band that hands cannot, provokes it to release, and injects nothing at all — the needle is the whole intervention. Dr. Bernice Wong holds the GEMt Trigger Point Dry Needling certification for it.

  • Neck, shoulder and lower back trigger points
  • Sterile single-use needles, never delegated
  • Used alongside adjustment, not instead of it

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions people ask before booking a first appointment in Puchong.

The first visit is RM300 and includes the full assessment — spinal and postural examination, range-of-motion and neurological testing, a reading of any X-rays you already have, and the first adjustment. Follow-up adjustments are RM150. Sports massage and soft tissue therapy is RM98. Shockwave and spinal decompression are quoted per treatment plan, because the number of sessions varies by condition. The full table is published on this page.

Yes. Both hold Pengamal Tempatan — local practitioner — status with AKTIF standing under the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Act 2016, and both hold current Annual Practising Certificates valid into February 2027. Their registration and certificate numbers are listed on this page so you can verify them yourself rather than take the claim on trust.

Yes. Saturday and Sunday run 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Weekdays are longer — 9:00am to 1:30pm and 2:30pm to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday — so the clinic is open every day of the week. A weekday-only schedule is unusable if you work office hours, and treatment that gets skipped is treatment that does not work. Message on WhatsApp for the current slots.

No. Trinity does not take X-rays on site. If you already have scans — from a hospital, a GP, or a previous clinic — bring them, because they are read as part of the first-visit assessment and they change what is and is not appropriate to adjust. If you do not have any, the examination proceeds without them, and you will be referred for imaging if the findings warrant it.

That is decided after the first assessment, not before it, and an honest clinic will not quote you a number over WhatsApp. What is reasonable to expect is a plan with a stated review point — a set of sessions, then a reassessment of whether it is working. If nothing has changed by the review, the plan should change rather than simply continue.

Mild soreness for a day or two after an adjustment is common and expected, in the way it is after unfamiliar exercise. Serious adverse events are rare, and the assessment exists partly to identify the conditions where adjustment is not appropriate — certain fractures, bone disease, inflammatory arthritis in an active phase, and some vascular conditions among them. If your presentation falls into one of those, you should be referred rather than treated.

R10, RIO, Lot 6, Ground Floor, IOI Lebuh Puteri, Bandar Puteri, 47100 Puchong, Selangor — inside the IOI Rio development, a few minutes from Bandar Puteri LRT. It is ground floor and wheelchair accessible, with parking directly outside, which matters if you are arriving in pain or bringing an elderly parent.

Yes, with a practitioner trained for it. Dr. Bernice Wong holds a Webster technique certification, which is a pelvic analysis and adjustment protocol for pregnancy, performed with the patient supported rather than lying face down, and positioning changes by trimester. Message before booking and say how many weeks you are, because there are situations where care should be deferred or coordinated with your obstetrician first.

E
En. AhmadTaman Puchong Perdana2026-09-08
Hi, I saw some clinics charge only RM100 per session ah, why is Trinity a bit more?
Clinical Rehab TeamCertified Practitioner2026-09-08
Hi En. Ahmad, fair question, and I can't speak for other clinics' pricing structures - but I can tell you exactly what you're paying for at Trinity. Your first visit is RM300 because it includes a proper spinal and postural exam, range-of-motion and neurological testing, review of any existing scans, and then your first adjustment - that's genuinely a longer, more thorough session. After that, follow-up adjustments settle at RM150, which is our standard maintenance rate. Both our chiropractors, Dr. Tan Yen Qi and Dr. Bernice Wong, are MOH-registered under Act 775 with current practising certificates, so you're paying for a properly credentialed assessment, not just a quick manipulation. WhatsApp 601151207390 if you'd like more detail before deciding.

AmirahTaman Puchong Perdana2026-09-08
Hi, I have prolapsed disc, should I avoid chiropractor totally or can still come?
Clinical Rehab TeamCertified Practitioner2026-09-08
Hi Amirah, you don't need to avoid us outright, but a prolapsed disc is exactly the kind of case where a proper assessment matters more than usual before anything is done. Depending on what's found, a gentler, decompression-based approach may suit your presentation better than a standard manual adjustment - or in some cases, referral to a doctor first is genuinely the right call. Your first visit includes a full spinal and neurological assessment plus review of any scans you already have, and your practitioner will be upfront if something needs medical attention before we proceed. We're not going to push ahead with treatment that isn't appropriate for your case. WhatsApp 601151207390 to discuss your situation before booking.

Cik DiyanaTaman Puchong Perdana2026-09-08
Hi, do I need to bring X-ray before I can get dry needling done ah?
Clinical Rehab TeamCertified Practitioner2026-09-08
Hi Cik Diyana, you do not need a fresh X-ray taken specifically for needling, but if you already have one from a hospital or clinic, please bring it along - Trinity reviews existing imaging as part of the assessment rather than sending you off for new scans on site. Since needling only addresses muscle, not disc or nerve issues, the assessment is what actually establishes whether your presentation is muscular in the first place. If it turns out not to be, you will be told that honestly rather than needled anyway. The first visit is RM300 and covers this full assessment. WhatsApp 601151207390 and let us know what you already have on hand.

VincentPuchong Jaya2026-09-01
Good morning, does spinal decompression traction really work for slipped disc ah?
Clinical Rehab TeamCertified Practitioner2026-09-01
Good morning Vincent, for many people with disc-related pain, HillDT motorised decompression can genuinely help - the idea is that programmed, controlled traction unloads pressure on the disc and surrounding structures, which a fair number of patients find gives real relief and improved function. I won't tell you it fixes every slipped disc permanently, though, because outcomes vary case by case, and some presentations respond better than others. Whether it's actually suitable for you depends on your specific assessment - your practitioner will review any scans you have and your symptoms before recommending it rather than assuming it's right for everyone. WhatsApp 601151207390 if you'd like to book an assessment to find out.

Mr. SivakumarPuchong Jaya2026-09-01
Good morning, I sit at PC whole day and my shoulder always tight one side, can dry needling help?
Clinical Rehab TeamCertified Practitioner2026-09-01
Good morning Mr. Sivakumar, that one-sided tightness climbing up the shoulder is exactly the picture we see most in the clinic, and the upper trapezius and levator scapulae are the most commonly needled muscles here for precisely that reason. Desk work concentrates load into that band, and by late afternoon the ache often travels up toward the base of the skull. Manual pressure and stretching help many cases, but needling adds reach for bands that surface work cannot fully release. The full assessment at your first visit, RM300, will confirm it is muscular before anything is needled. Nothing is injected - it is a fine needle only. WhatsApp 601151207390 to describe what you are feeling.

Mrs. LimBandar Kinrara2026-08-26
Hello, is the first visit price the same as a normal follow-up or more expensive?
Clinical Rehab TeamCertified Practitioner2026-08-26
Hello Mrs. Lim, good question - the first visit is priced differently because it covers a lot more ground. At RM300, it includes a full spinal and postural examination, range-of-motion and neurological testing, analysis of any X-rays or scans you already have, and your first adjustment. A follow-up visit is RM150, and that's a shorter progress check with a localised adjustment and some postural or ergonomic advice. So the first visit costs more because it's genuinely doing more diagnostic work upfront - it's not a random markup. Once your assessment is done, your practitioner will be upfront about what comes next. WhatsApp us at 601151207390 if you'd like to book in at Bandar Puteri Puchong.

SarahBandar Kinrara2026-08-26
Hello, is spinal decompression covered under one price or you all charge separately?
Clinical Rehab TeamCertified Practitioner2026-08-26
Hello Sarah, spinal decompression is one of our specialised modalities, and like shockwave, it's quoted per treatment plan rather than one flat number. That's because the number of sessions and how they're structured depends entirely on what your first assessment shows - some conditions need a shorter course, others benefit from a longer one, and pricing follows that rather than the other way round. Your first visit is a fixed RM300 and includes the full diagnostic workup that determines this. We won't ask you to commit to a plan before you know the cost - that gets discussed clearly with you once assessment is done. WhatsApp 601151207390 if you'd like to ask about your specific case first.

Puan Farah LiyanaBandar Kinrara2026-08-26
Hello, dry needling ni sama macam akupuntur ke?
Clinical Rehab TeamCertified Practitioner2026-08-26
Hello Puan Farah Liyana, tak sama, walaupun both guna jarum yang serupa nampaknya. WhatsApp 601151207390 kalau nak tanya lanjut.

Mr. TanBandar Puteri2026-08-21
Hi, how much is one Gonstead adjustment session at Trinity ah?
Clinical Rehab TeamCertified Practitioner2026-08-21
Hi Mr. Tan, thanks for asking! Our pricing is published and simple: the first visit is RM300, and that covers the full spinal and postural examination, range-of-motion and neurological assessment, a review of any scans you already have, plus your first adjustment. After that, follow-up adjustments are RM150 each, which includes a progress check and localised adjustment with ergonomic guidance. There's no hidden add-on fee tucked in later - what you see is what you pay. Gonstead adjustments at Trinity in Bandar Puteri Puchong are done by Dr. Tan Yen Qi, who's certified in the technique. If you'd like to check availability or ask anything else before booking, just WhatsApp us at 601151207390 and we'll help you out.

BenBandar Puteri2026-08-21
Hi, how much is shockwave therapy per session at Trinity?
Clinical Rehab TeamCertified Practitioner2026-08-21
Hi Ben, our specialised modalities like shockwave (EMS Guided Dolorclast) are quoted per treatment plan rather than a flat per-session rate, because how many sessions and how much time it takes genuinely varies with the condition and its severity. What is fixed is your first visit at RM300, which covers a full assessment - spinal and postural exam, range-of-motion and neurological testing, and review of any scans you have - and that assessment is what determines whether shockwave is even the right fit and what a realistic treatment plan looks like. You won't be quoted blind before being seen. If you'd like a personalised estimate after assessment, WhatsApp 601151207390 and we can walk you through the next step.

Mr. ChewBandar Puteri2026-08-21
Hi, how much is dry needling and is it sold as a package deal?
Clinical Rehab TeamCertified Practitioner2026-08-21
Hi Mr. Chew, the first visit is RM300 and includes the full assessment, which is what actually decides whether needling is appropriate for you at all. If it is, follow-up adjustments are RM150 and soft tissue or sports massage sessions are RM98. Where needling forms part of a longer treatment plan, that plan is quoted to you before it starts, not billed session by session as a surprise later. We keep pricing published and straightforward rather than wrapping it into a hard-sell package pitch. Bring whatever history or X-rays you already have to the first visit so the assessment has something to work from. WhatsApp 601151207390 if you would like to check availability first.
