Clearing Standing Water Around the Home
Dengue is spread by Aedes mosquitoes, which breed in small pools of clean standing water: plant saucers, blocked roof gutters, flat roofs that hold rainwater, and containers left outside.
Regular cleaning clears most of it, and fixing ponding on roofs and balconies removes the spots that a broom cannot reach.
